Yesterday Fred the Moth had done their fingerprints! The reason why is because we are still trying to solve the mystery about the crime that had happened in Whetu. We had to gather ink, learn how to roll the fingers, and a piece of paper to identify which type of fingerprint it was. There are Loops, Whorls and Arches. There is also one called a Double Loop. For our Fantastic Fingerprints, we had to do all 10 fingers to see and identify which type of pattern it was. These are the results I came out with!
Hi my name is Mia I am a year 6 in Whetu at Ngatea Primary School and my favourite colour is blue.

Whetu Crime Case 2020
This term we are doing Crime Investagation about who had broken in and stole some chocolates! At first, we got a video from Detective Dun asking us if we could crack the case! He had told us three things to make sure to do: Freeze, Control and Preserve. Yesterday we looked at the crime scene and observed what clues and what things they had done. Today we tried to figure out some clues and evidence that could be helpful for this Crime. Mrs Heaven has taken photos of the evidence so we could have a closer look at it. We have found: A broken Vase, blood, coffee mug, blood on a tissue, liquid on a tissue, milky way bars, footprints, an NPS Pen, a Licence and more.
Here are some photos/evidence.
